Felt Flowers and Girlie Glue

I don't know about you, but my kids are born with little to no hair!

As far as my BEAUTIFUL daughter goes, she has LITTLE hair.  I'm always finding cute things to put on her almost bald head. Head bands are always cute. BUT they tend to fall down into her eyes. 

(See, CUTE as a button but not much on top.)

So, I started questioning if I should pierce her little ears to help her look a bit more, well, like a girl. 

My best friend Jeanette {aka the other Tilly} said NO! She kept saying to just wait.

Little did I know, she was sending me something in the mail.

Ladies-this stuff is A-MAZE-ING.

I give you GIRLIE GLUE!

Girlie Glue is a special glue specifically made for babies!
It is 100% safe and wipes off with water.
Her cute hair accessories stay on her head ALL DAY.

I'm not gonna lie...I was pretty skeptical at first.

Sure enough, though, the glue works. It works GREAT!

It works best with felt and paper, in my opinion, so I decided to make a few felt flowers!

-Pick out the colors you like.

-Cut out a 5x5 square.

-Start from the center and roll/glue as you go.

Like I said before, I made a few!

Felt flowers are pretty easy to make, especially if you have a hot glue gun. This is something you can make your own! LOVE it!

What I Used:

Felt (very cheap)

Hot Glue Gun

Scissors

Needle and Thread (not needed)

What I Did:

-You can cut any shapes you'd like and layer them. 

-Glue as you go

-If you'd like to make the petals, just cut out a tear drop shape.

Put a tiny dab of hot glue on the point and pinch together.

When finished glue the petals together!

Tips:

Cut out an extra piece of felt to glue to the bottom of the flower. 

It gives it a finished look and is good when using GIRLIE GLUE.

Use thread in the middle for a different look.

This picture happens to have a paper scrapbook flower in it.

I LOVE this product. I swear by it.
