Happy Valentine's Day fellow Tillys!
Do you already feel the love today? I know I sure do! Why? Because of my husband? Well, no. Not really. (Sorry to throw you under the bus, honey.) I woke up and went to my gym for a run (check out {this} AMAZING workout playlist on With Heart-made my run so much better). After I got home and cleaned myself up, I did what most women do. I stared at my closet deciding what to wear. I have a date tonight, with an excellent surprise for my handsome hubs, and I want to look smokin'.
My go-to outfit lately has been a button-up shirt (usually plaid), jeans, and flats. Occasionally I'll kick it up a notch with a pair of wedges. (THESE are so comfy, and they were only $15 at F21! Unfortunately, they are sold out.) You know that feeling you get when you wear something that fits just right, is so comfortable, and affordable? That, my friends, is what I call LOVE. When you clothe yourself in something you feel great in, you fall in love with yourself! (In a good way, people.) And that is what Beauty FULL February is all about.
So, I made the best effort this morning to fall in love with myself. Even though going shopping for something new always gets me feeling good about myself, I wanted to prove that I can find old things in my closet and create a new look.
Black is a safe color if you are worried about "looking large." It slims anyone and is sleek and classy. Being a vocal performance student, I gained a large amount of black in my wardrobe. I don't mind because it makes me feel great when I wear it. Don't mind the slightly poofy hair. My hair is in one of those oh-so-awkward lengths. I am trying to grow out a pixie. Have you ever experienced a length that is hard to manage? What did you do while it was growing out?

These skinnies were something I rewarded myself with back in October. I finally hit my pre-pregnancy weight, even though it was a year later. I feel like numbers on a scale aren't what should determine whether you love yourself or not. I know it feels great if you've lost some of those numbers, though, but we have to get over it! Being healthy and fit is my goal, and I'm still sticking to it! I'm not perfect at it. I'm not someone who loves going to the gym everyday. I go because I know I will feel energized and happier about myself if I do. I know you will, too. Just a walk around the block can make you feel so much better!

I feel good. I am getting around to falling in love with myself more and more each day. Clothe yourself in things that make you feel great about who you are-inside and out!
